Confessions of a shopaholic

Made the trip without killing anyone or going to jail! I am so proud of that accomplishment. To drive all the way to Orlando and back without even one incident is a miracle, especially since there were plenty of bad drivers out there today working extremely hard at driving slowly in front of me. What a long drive. I had plenty of company, though. My daughter Paige and my son Leo came with me so that I wouldn’t be alone on my way home. We stopped at a Target on our way out to The Big O., looking for a vase to put sunflowers in for Easton’s girlfriend, and I needed new USB charger ports for my truck. We were unsuccessful in the vase department, but I got what I was there for. Targets are fun, and the four of us enjoyed the trip through the aisles perusing the Halloween décor amongst other things. After that short sojourn, we got back on the road to finish up our trip, then unceremoniously dumped Easton in the parking lot of his girlfriend’s dorm. So, here the rest of us are, having driven hours just to get to this anticlimactic moment. It was a bit of a letdown. After consulting my passengers we decided to head over to the outlet mall to do a little shopping. Yes, retail therapy at it’s best before beginning the long journey home. All in all, I would say that I had a fantastic day.
